If you prefer a diesel engine, look no further. The workhorse for all Jeep® Wrangler models is the available 2.8L four-cylinder Turbo Diesel engine. It provides robust performance and durability - delivering 147 kW (200 hp) and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) of torque with the manual transmission and 339 lb-ft (460 Nm) of torque with the automatic transmission.

Made to bring you four-wheel off-roading+ power, the Command-Trac® NV241 4WD system comes standard on Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Command-Trac delivers equal power to all four corners to help get you through the rough stuff.
For more control and more torque, the Rock-Trac® 4WD system is a go-anywhere system with a 4:1 low-gear ratio that helps you to crawl at a lower speed with a greater increase in torque at the wheels.

Rubicon: born to reach the summit
The Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon is equipped with Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials, mud terrain tires, the Rock-Trac® transfer case, a 4:1 low-range ratio and rock rails. A very high crawl ratio helps you cruise up rocks to places that others only dream of reaching.
Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist
Hill Descent Control helps you monitor throttle, speed and braking when you're traveling downhill and need it most. Plus, Hill Start Assist keeps your brakes applied for a short time after you've removed your foot from the brake to give you time to accelerate without rollback.
Dana 44 heavy-duty axle
The above-center mounting on this axle adds ground clearance and helps to reduce the driveshaft's joint angles for smooth and quiet operation.
Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials
The 2014 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon offers standard Dana 44 front and rear axles equipped with Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials that help provide the ultimate in traction.
Sway bar disconnect system
